It is set in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and it inhabits some of the mountain gorillas which today remain not more than 1004 individuals on planet earth, several bird species, Okapis, elephants, hippos and many other primates. Gorilla treks in the Virunga National Park involve exploring the park’s habituated families which include Humba, Munyaga, Nyakamwe, Lulengo, Rugendo, Mapuwa, Kabirizi and Bageni.
