Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
Meet your tour leader after an early morning breakfast ready to begin your 5 to 6 hours’ road trip from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park which is found in Northwestern Uganda. Drive via the Luweero-Masindi route and on the way, you will make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for you to track rhinos. After, the driver guide/tour leader will take you to Masindi to have lunch and then connect to Murchison Falls National Park via the Kichumbanyobo gate. Along the way, get an incredible sight at the playful olive baboons, scenic view of Budongo Forest, Kaniyo-Pabidi. In case time allows, drive to the top of Murchison Falls to witness this natural wonder as it squeezes itself on a narrow gorge of about 7 meters prior to plunging about 43 meters. After photography, drive to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and night stay.

Day 2: Game drives and launch cruise
Begin your second day with an early morning breakfast and after, head out for exciting game drive via the Northern Circuit of Murchison Falls National Park. A game drive along this game track, allows you to explore the park’s enormous wildlife species including African bush elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, Rothschild giraffes, birds, antelopes and general view of breathtaking landscape of Murchison Falls National Park. This game viewing experience takes you about 3 to 4 hours and after, you will return to have lunch in your lunch.
At 2:00 pm, you will set off for the afternoon launch trip which takes you to the bottom of Murchison Falls. This amazing water sport allows you to catch a glimpse at large schools of hippos, Nile crocodiles, water birds as well as other wildlife species. This is 3 to 4 hours’ experience and once you get to Baker’s rock, don’t miss the scenic view of Murchison Falls. You can choose to return on a boat or hike to top of Murchison Falls and meet the driver guide who will drive you back.

Day 3: Drive from Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park
Have breakfast early in the morning and after, drive from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park. This is about 7 hours’ drive journey and along the way, enjoy the unique landscape, rift valley escarpment. You will be served lunch in Fort Portal and later, drive to Kibale Forest National Park.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, gather at Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for a briefing on the set guidelines to observe while on a trek to see chimpanzees. This is a 2-4-hour primate experience and not only will you see chimpanzees but you will also come across other primate species, bird species, plant species, butterflies to mention but a few.
Once you come across chimpanzees, you have an hour of magical encounter which also includes photo taking. After, you will return to the visitor center/lodge to check out ready to embark on 5-6-hour road trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Southwestern Uganda. Drive via Ishasha area which may get you an astonishing view of the tree climbing lions and later, proceed to Savanna Resort for lunch. Arrive early at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to check-in at your desired safari lodge for relaxation, dinner and a night stay.

Enjoy your hot cup of tea or coffee and after, proceed to Bwindi park headquarters with some packed lunch and energy-giving snacks for a briefing on the set safety measures of gorilla trekking. It is today that you will be assigned to a gorilla family to trek and park ranger to take you through this thrilling adventure. It may last you about 2-6 hours and on finding a gorilla family, you have one hour of magical encounter. On gorilla trek, you will also come across other species of primates, bird species and many others. After, return to relax at the lodge and in the evening, visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience, enjoy the amazing dances, music performance, traditions, lifestyle of the Batwa pygmies.
